All orders received by 4.30 pm will be dispatched the same day, Monday to Friday. We do not dispatch goods on Saturday, Sunday, or Bank holidays UNLESS you have selected a SPECIFIC day delivery. We have Saturday & Sunday with DPD as well as a same day bike service Please Phone to arrange this.
Free Delivery on orders over £20.
All UK deliveries are made by DPD couriers with a time frame from 1 to 2 working day’s to be delivered to your provided address in the UK. We also use Royal Mail 24 which is a next day service you may in some instances receive these on a Saturday & Sunday depending on your area.
Please note that the delivery date is NOT GUARANTEED.
If the recipient is not in and it is not possible to leave the item in a secure area, DPD will make two further attempts to deliver it (the “Further Attempts”). If they’re still unable to deliver your Parcel, DPD will return it to us.
We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available or due to the recipient failing to divert order to safe-place, neighbour or closest Parcel Drop-Off or Locker.
Furthermore, please note that by leaving instructions for a delivery to be left in a specific place, it is not the responsibility of Leonidas Kensington if it goes missing and a replacement/refund will not be considered.
UK Delivery Area: the United Kingdom includes Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands. (Please not Scottish Highlands & Channel Islands are on a 2 Day DPD service)
To ensure your order arrives with you in perfect condition, we have our specially-designed outer polystyrene casing which protects the fresh Belgian chocolates from temperature changes in transit, for use in our warmer months. We also use environmentally friendly packing for our smaller ballotins. All orders are wrapped in tissue, for a gift presentation. Our Luxury gift boxes have been chosen as they provide a hard firm casing.

When we look forward to an extended summer period, we bring to your attention that hot temperatures are not ideal to dispatching chocolate.
While our warehouse is temperature and humidity controlled, once your order leaves with our couriers DPD & Royal Mail they are very much open to temperature fluctuations.
Please note that while it might not be very hot where you are, the delivery may have to travel across most of the country to get to you, passing through many warmer locations in the process.
We can not accept responsibility for DPD or Royal Mail leaving your parcel in the sun/heat or melted chocolates.
If you are not happy to take the responsibility for the delivery then please leave us a dispatch date in the comments at checkout of order and we will dispatch it to you then.
We also recommend you only use next day/express so it is out of the delivery network as soon as possible.
- ‘Click & Collect only’, Items must be collected in-store with this service, you will be notified when the item is ready to collect, once collected it will be marked as picked up. If you need a set date for collection, please contact us with your requested collection date when ordering.
We do not ship, very fragile items like novelties or Easter Egg shells.
Please note that we DO NOT ship gift cards.
These are sent by email. Once purchased the value of the Gift Card will be added to your personal Gift card Account. If you have funds in your Gift Card Account, you will notice that the amount now shows in the Shopping Cart box, and also provides a link to a page where you can send your Gift Card by e-mail.
Our boxes do not go through letter boxes unless it's a parcel box. If the recipient is not at home, Royal Mail or DPD service may try to leave in a secure location, or after 3 failed delivery attempts it will be returned to us.
All payments are processed through our secure site in accordance with the standing Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations, we will mail you details of your order and confirmation details of payment. It is our policy not to sell or pass on any personal details. We will store and process any details you provide at the time of registering or purchasing to help support our service to you and from time to time we will provide you with details of our products and promotions.
Our recommended final day for Christmas delivery is the 21st December for express deliveries. We will continue to ship express deliveries until 23rd December. Our next dispatch day will then be 27th December after Christmas.
We can deliver on a specific day, with DPD we have the option for Saturday & Sunday, you will need to make the order by the previous day to ensure it is correctly labeled. If you are in any way dissatisfied with our products or our service we will always do our best to ensure that we resolve the problem to your satisfaction. You may cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched and we will issue a refund. Once your order has been dispatched we can only offer a refund for damaged or faulty goods, as our products cannot be resold, due to it being a food product.
We may ask for any damaged goods to be returned, so that we may investigate the damage, we will refund the original cost of the product or send out a replacement box to you, once we have received the original damaged order back. We do not offer refunds for the late arrival of chocolates. After 7 days we will send out a replacement box, as a tracked service that will require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure your chocolates have not been left with the local parcel shop or locker, as we will submit claims for non-delivery with DPD & Royal Mail who have access to GPS co-ordinates and photos indicating who and where the item was received.

We are sorry that your order didn’t arrive in perfect condition.
Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org sending email containing your order number & picture attachments of the damaged chocolates or incorrect order, or call us on 0207 938 3159 from 10am to 6pm.
We will dispatch orders the same day, (Monday to Friday) for orders placed before 4.00 pm. Orders placed after 4:30.00 pm on a Friday will be sent Saturday, as long as the following Monday is not a bank holiday. As a general rule, our cut-off time is 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.
Large or multiple orders will take a few days to complete (as all online orders are handpicked)
If you wish to add a message to your order, please enter it onto the order notes when you get to the checkout. This will be printed on the packing slip which has no prices on and inserted with your order. If it's a birthday or occasion we have small card that we can include and write the message on. Payments are accepted with Amazon Pay, Klarna, PayPal and stripe payments using credit or debit cards. The name and billing address given, at the time of order, must be the same as the registered name and address of the cardholder. Failure to supply correct details may result in your order being delayed. In accordance with the standing Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations, we will mail you details of your order.
